Narozen 1980 ve Zlíně, Búřil je absolventem studia na Fakultě výtvarného umění Vysokého učení technického v Brně (Ateliér grafiky Margity Titlové-Ylovské) a Filmové a televizní fakultě Akademie múzických umění v Praze (Katedra animace). V průběhu studia absolvoval stáže na Akademii výtvarných umění v Praze (Ateliér grafiky Jiřího Lindovského) a na Akademie für Bildende Künste – Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz. Ve své tvorbě se soustředí především na tvorbu kratších animovaných snímků a multimediálních instalací. V současnosti působí rovněž pedagogicky a to na Katedře animace Filmové a televizní fakulty Akademie múzických umění v Praze.
