Narozena 1979 v Praze, zde rovněž absolvovala studium na Akademii výtvarných umění (Ateliér nových médií Michaela Bielického, 2000–2006). Mezi lety 2005 a 2006 studovala také na Akademie der Bildenden Künste ve Vídni. Práce Evy Jiřičky se v současnosti pohybují mezi několika žánry, zejména mezi videoartem a performance. Její konceptuálně laděna tvorba (vyznačující se dokumentárními a experimentálním postupy) se dotýká zejména témat mezilidských vztahů, společenských norem a hodnot nebo otázky fungování veřejného prostoru.
