Narozen 1965 v Brně, v letech 1983–1988 zde studoval Vědu o výtvarném umění (Masarykova univerzita). V Brně působil rovněž pedagogicky a to na Fakultě výtvarného umění Vysokého učení technického (zejména v Ateliéru intermediální a digitální tvorby) a na Janáčkově akademii múzických umění. Kromě výtvarné a audiovizuální oblasti se dlouhodobě věnuje také hudbě a projektu fyzického básnictví.
