Narozen 1952 v Českém Brodu, od roku 1981 žije a působí v Kanadě. V 70. letech tvořil v okruhu akčních umělců (Jiří Kovanda, Petr Štembera, Karel Miler nebo Jan Mlčoch), kromě toho se v průběhu let věnoval také kresbě a grafickému designu. V současnosti vytváří zejména víceúrovňové projekty tematizující vztahy mezi lidskou společností a divokou přírodou.
